Bistro 12
Address: 12 N. Main St. Tarrytown
Located at 12 Main Street, Bistro 12 is Tarrytown’s European-style bistro, offering a full menu of Mediterranean dishes including French Braised Rabbit in a demi-glace, traditional Portuguese Alentejana, which is pork with clams and potatoes in a delicious wine sauce, and a Greek specialty, octopus on a bed of escarole.
Owners Jose Manuel Goncalves Pereira and Luis Miguel Rodrigues opened Bistro 12 in 2013 with the hope of bringing the foods and nostalgia of their childhood in Madeira, a beautiful Portuguese island, to Tarrytown. Learn more about Bistro 12.
Blue Hill
Address: 630 Bedford Rd, Tarrytown
A true highlight of the Hudson Valley, Blue Hill at Stone Barns sources all of its ingredients from its surrounding fields and pastures, as well as Hudson Valley-local farms. However, that highlight is going to be a little expensive at $278 per guest, as there are no menus at Blue Hill. Instead, guests are offered a multi-state feast featuring the freshest ingredients from the farm and market, which, according to critics, will turn out to be the greatest dining experience of your life. Basque Tapas Bar
Address: 61 Main St Tarrytown
While you’ll most likely want to wear a sports coat to Blue Hill, Basque Tapas Bar is far more laid back. Here the tapas are influenced by the northern regions of Spain, from Galicia to Cataluna and the Basque country. Not to mention, the wines, sangrias, paellas, are authentically prepared and make for a unique Valentine’s Day dinner date. Learn more about Basque Tapas Bar.
